COVID-19 & You

  • COVID-19 & You

    UPDATE:   Wednesday, May 13, 2020

Health & safety is our number one priority.

Tuesday, May 19, 2020 – Our branches will be opening and following the Provincial Government Physical Distancing Guidelines.

As the province has decided to re-open, we’re excited to announce we will be following suit. Cypress Credit Union branches in Richmound, Burstall, Fox Valley, Tompkins and Consul will be open to serve members ONE person at a time at the recommended two meters of physical distance. Our Maple Creek branch can serve TWO members at a time with physical distance measures in place.

All Lending and Investing services will be done by appointment only where physical distancing requirements can be met.

Our employees and members’ health and safety is top priority. You will see safety protocols in all our branches. We ask that you follow all health and safety measures in place.

Limited number of members in-branch. You may be asked to wait outside until it is safe to enter.

    • Social / Physical Distancing – you will see signs at all branches as reminders.  Floor decals will be in place at some branches.  Please use these as a guide for physical distancing.
    • Increased Diligence Of Cleaning – each member service workstation will be cleaned regularly throughout the day.
    • Hand Sanitizer Stations – we are asking members to utilize the hand sanitizer as they enter the building.

We want everyone to follow the health authority experts’ advice which is to continue physical distancing and stay home whenever possible. That means using alternate channels for banking services whenever possible. Therefore, even though we are making in-branch service available, we still encourage you to call us first to determine if your needs can be met over the phone or through an alternate channel.

Please call us at 1.877.353.6311 and we’d be happy to help you over the phone.

Please do not enter a branch if you have travelled internationally in the last 14 days, are sick, have cold or flu-like symptoms, or have been in close contact with anyone who has.

    Glen Goddard,
    General Manager

    UPDATE:   Friday, March 23, 2020

We made the difficult decision to lock our front doors to the public to limit face-to-face contact for the safety of our staff and members.

Even though our doors are locked, we are still here for you.

Our staff are working regular business hours, and we are committed to finding ways to meet your financial needs. We encourage members to call their local branch if they need any assistance, or have any questions.
