We’re Enhancing our Online Security for our Members

 

Introducing Enhanced P.A.C. (Personal Access Code)

At Cypress Credit Union, we want to ensure that our members Online and Mobile Banking experience is as safe and secure as possible. Our latest enhancement to your online banking security is designed to give you more flexibility in choosing a stronger and more robust Personal Access Code (PAC) to keep your accounts safe.

 

How Will This Impact Me?

Upon logging onto online banking you will be prompted to update your PAC to one that is more complex.

 

What are the Requirements?

Your PAC will need to be a combination of capital letters, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols.

  • At least 8 characters minimum and up to 30 characters maximum
  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one lowercase letter
  • At least one number
  • No spaces
  • You can use the following special characters @ # $ - ! |

*The last 10 passwords you have used cannot be used again*

 

When Will this Occur?

Beginning July, 2019 as soon as you log in to Online Banking or our Mobile App, you will be required to change your PAC.

 

Where Can I Change my PAC?

  • Member Direct on a desktop
  • On the mobile APP
  • Not on the mobile web browser

 

Why do you have to change?

As Online and Mobile Banking becomes more prevalent here at Cypress Credit Union, we need to provide our members the necessary measures to keep their personal account information safe and protected with enhanced security.

Please Remember: 
Do not use weak passwords such as telephone numbers or dates such as birth year, birthdays etc. Make your password unique, difficult to guess, and be sure to use a different password for each of your important accounts.
